Sunday - Day 3 - No. Hear me. There is LIFE....in his blood

There is so much to say. I almost wish I could record everything to write down. Sometimes I am just typing what pops into my head.

First of all our, our experience this weekend is like going to an ER. They have opened the wellness center just for Mike. That is the first blessing. People are coming in on their days off to help Mike. The real work starts tomorrow. We will be gone from 9-6 doing all kinds of treatments.

Mike and three treatments today. He had the Lymphatic Drainage again for about 2 1/2 hours.
Next they pricked his finger for viewing his blood under a microscope. It is "live blood" and they watched and counted the cells. Elizabeth was lucky and they let her see Mike's blood. She told us the white blood cells look like little stars in the sky twinkling. Before the test began, Bill told us about the test. We need the test because there is life in the blood. Mike and I were shaking our head in agreement. He said, " Hear me. There is LIFE....in his blood."

After that, Mike, Elizabeth and I got in the Infared Saunas. The purpose of the sauna is to sweat out the impurities in your body. Something about the Infared that goes to your core and heats you from the inside and radiates it out. Anyway, once Elizabeth left, I was really lost in thought (and sweat). I don't know who Bill is, but I have a feeling we are with the President of the Jedi Master High Council. It is like learning how to use a computer from Bill Gates. He spills out so much knowledge. And he is not charging us for his time. We have to pay for our supplements, treatments, etc. but not Bill. It is like having a baby and paying for everything but the doctor that delivers the baby. So how do you repay someone like Bill .. And Melissa for that matter?

I am amazed at how closely this journey is resembling our walk with Christ. This disease is our sin. It slowly built until it started effecting our lives in subtle ways at first and then became completely debilitating. We were told we have no hope. Death. We were is absolute despair. Then we were led to Bill by Melissa. We called Bill and he explained the situation. However, in the end, we had a choice to make. Which path did we want to follow? The one of hopelessness and death or the one with hope and life. By God's Grace, we admitted that we did not want to die and we chose to come to Sarasota, FL to find life.

This journey is the same journey Mike and I took over 10 years ago, only in spiritual realm. We were sinful. We had two different people show us the way to Jesus. Each of us admitted that sin to Him. We chose eternal life through Christ Jesus. Now, there is still work to do in perfecting that walk here on earth, but in the end, we have life.

We are here, but there is still work to do. Hard work. Mike is enduring but throwing up. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We are all in very good and safe place. Life is good. Today is good. I have Elizabeth and Mike. That is all any of us is promised. Right now. This moment.

By the way, thank you for allowing me to really post all these feeling and thoughts. I should be paying everyone who reads this... You are my therapist.

Elizabeth and I also went to Venice Beach late this afternoon to look for Shark Teeth. She found 5 and was thrilled. The beaches are great here. They are shell beaches not sand. I also almost set off the hotel fire alarm with the hot plate I was using to warm up everyone's food! No kidding. It is hard to keep things straight. Mike needs these things, Elizabeth is hungry, and oops, the hot plate is smoking!
