Update at 9:15 pm CST

There is not much change in Mike this evening. He is sleeping and grunting - however he has had two coherent sentences. The nurses said the Dr said that he may be like this until morning. On the positive side, he is resting. I don't know where to lie down and try to sleep or wait to see if he gets more responsive.

The respiratory therapist brought a breathing exercise machine for him to start using in the morning. The goal was tonight, but it is apparent that will not happen.

John 14:27... Please pray that over me and over us.

I will blog mid morning tomorrow to update on his recovery. Mike still has not even attempted to drink anything. I declare Jesus's Healing hand over Mike tonight.

Relieved to hear the surgeries went well today and Mike is resting. Try and get some rest; I'm sure it's been a very draining day and you could use it. God is looking over you all--we are praying for you!
God Bless,
Cynthia

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

I pray you find that rest tonight. Much love and constant prayers...Roxanne

Praying for you all Deanna. Just finished listening to a sermon by one of our old pastors that you might find comforting while you wait. Here is the link.

Our Bible study just finished discussing the book "A Treasury of Christmas Miracles" by Karen Kingsbury. It is a collection of TRUE miracles. We lifted Mike up and asked God to make him this years Christmas miracle. Every miracle that happened was prayed for specifically. May you rest in the plan that God has a miracle planned for you. Glad to hear that the surgery went well and now the port can do its job and revive Mike.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Praying the requested scripture over you all!

Love in Christ!
