I am so tired and there is so much to say. At some point, maybe this weekend, I will blog everything that Mike is taking and all that I have to keep track of. We left the hotel at 8:30 am and came home at 7:00.
We went to the Gulf Gate Wellness Center and did Mike's official paperwork and testing. It was very interesting. The testing machine was called electronic meridian analyzer, I think. This machine encompasses Chinese traditional medicine, acuputure techniques and German Electronics. Dr. Bo, it was like NAP testing that you did on Elizabeth when she was two to get rid of the ear infections, only WAY more techinical. It tested all of Mike's systems and how they reacted initially and then with certain medicines, herbs and supplements. Mike held a copper grounding thing and the shot electricity through acupuncture points. It all fed into a computer. I wish I had brought a video. Anyway, at the end of the testing, Bill looked up and said, "They got it wrong. You have Liver Cancer that has spread to the esphogus. Not that it matters, because we are going to get it all, but they got it wrong."
I want to pause here and talk about Bill for a minute. The man has to be a Genius. I have the priviledge of being a fly on the wall to watch him work. He gets so lost in it. He hears things and he will say what was that? You can see his brain working and searching. He calls out things. We are so lucky. We need this man on this earth for as long as possible. He invented and patent his Vitality C. He attached Vitamin C to a sodium modicule. The sodium tricks the cells into absorbing the vitamin C. Among many other things... Bill is invested in us, in my family. He calls us every night to see how Mike is, he askes about Elizabeth, he wants me healthy... May God Bless this man for his care.
So they added more stuff for Mike to take and then we were off for our first IV Therapy. He is doing a Vitamin C drip with something in it. Eventuallly it will be a Vitamin C derived from beets and they will add DMSO that will do something to trick the Cancer into absorbing it plus the Vitamin C. Vitamin Cell once in a cancer cell converts to hydrogen perioxide and kills the cancer cell. It seems simple, but there are other issues going on as well. I will list everything I can this weekend.
We then headed back to the ANWC and Mike did some more LGB for an hour and a half. We picked up dinner to go and headed back home to the hotel. There is this great restaurant here called the Bean Sprout. All organic/whole food restaurant. EVERYTHING we have had has been delicious. Mike has only had the soup.
It is a little overwhelming right now. So many medicines. I have this file folder wheel box thing that I picked up at Office Max to handle everything. Mike is now throwing up - which is good. But it is very hard to hear. I hate that he has to go through this. He still cracks me up though. He talks about the battle he is having with his little friend. He talks to his little friend. He has a battle plan to take out his little friend.
Elizabeth is having a good time. She gets to help with the LGB, look through microscopes, learn about how electricity can travel throught the body, and of course, nutrition. She really wants to got to the Mote Aquarium too. That will probably have to wait. But, she is our absolute blessing and our secret weapon. Bill loves her. As he said, "We are going to beat this. I don't want to look into your daughter's eyes and tell her I failed." Bill, Uncle Bill, is part of our family.
God is still very present here, though, I have to say, the real world was let in today. Since Friday, we have unintentionally fasted from the world. It was nice, peaceful, and grounding in our faith and our family. However, today we were battling traffic, people, and the world. We believe God is doing a mighty work to show his Glory. I would rather be in God's Will and God's plan, that any other, EVEN if that means going through this.
Please continue to Pray for us. Mike that his strength will continue to build. For me, that I will get more rest and be able to organized everything. For Elizabeth, that here faith will continue to grow more and more each day.
God Bless everyone... We love you!

Hyssop Ointment
One more quick thing. I walked in on Bill using Hyssop Ointment on Mike's shoulder and neck area. Bill was telling about the properites of Hyssop and how is penetrates and open's things and how it was used in ancient times. Mike said "And the Israelites used hyssop to put the blood on the door for the angel of death plague to passover." Bill teared up and said that was right. It is in Genesis 12:22
Elizabeth's 1st Posting
Hi everyone!
Today I am going to blog about the office. When we got in Mr. Bill welcomed us and talked about different things like what we were going to do today and how the night went. After that they put dad in a room . The room had a bed like the ones in a docter's office exept with sheets.
Then they put dad through LBG (light beam generator) . It makes bad stuff drain out of his body.It took a looong time so I went in the kitchen to play dad's PSP. I guess I got wrapped up in it because mom had to come in and tell me it was lunch time.We had peanut butter sandwiches , blueberry/applesauce and umm... carrots.
Next we did the sauna. Before that they took blood samples but I'll tell you about that later. The saunas were big enough for 2 and had 5 heaters! It is supposed to make you sweat toxins out of your body.IT WAS HHHHHOOOOOOOOTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!120 degrees to be exact. Since I was a kid and took half the time I got to use the shower 1st. It was special water with oxygen and minerals . The water made me think of Hawaii's waterfalls and smelled almost like Heaven. After I got out Mr. Bach let me see dad's blood . The live white blood cells that were live were about a fingernail long on the microscope. It looked like when a TV goes bad and makes lots of loud noise.
Well that is about it. I'll blog again when mom lets me.

Sunday - Day 3 - No. Hear me. There is LIFE....in his blood
There is so much to say. I almost wish I could record everything to write down. Sometimes I am just typing what pops into my head.
First of all our, our experience this weekend is like going to an ER. They have opened the wellness center just for Mike. That is the first blessing. People are coming in on their days off to help Mike. The real work starts tomorrow. We will be gone from 9-6 doing all kinds of treatments.
Mike and three treatments today. He had the Lymphatic Drainage again for about 2 1/2 hours.
Next they pricked his finger for viewing his blood under a microscope. It is "live blood" and they watched and counted the cells. Elizabeth was lucky and they let her see Mike's blood. She told us the white blood cells look like little stars in the sky twinkling. Before the test began, Bill told us about the test. We need the test because there is life in the blood. Mike and I were shaking our head in agreement. He said, " Hear me. There is LIFE....in his blood."
After that, Mike, Elizabeth and I got in the Infared Saunas. The purpose of the sauna is to sweat out the impurities in your body. Something about the Infared that goes to your core and heats you from the inside and radiates it out. Anyway, once Elizabeth left, I was really lost in thought (and sweat). I don't know who Bill is, but I have a feeling we are with the President of the Jedi Master High Council. It is like learning how to use a computer from Bill Gates. He spills out so much knowledge. And he is not charging us for his time. We have to pay for our supplements, treatments, etc. but not Bill. It is like having a baby and paying for everything but the doctor that delivers the baby. So how do you repay someone like Bill .. And Melissa for that matter?
I am amazed at how closely this journey is resembling our walk with Christ. This disease is our sin. It slowly built until it started effecting our lives in subtle ways at first and then became completely debilitating. We were told we have no hope. Death. We were is absolute despair. Then we were led to Bill by Melissa. We called Bill and he explained the situation. However, in the end, we had a choice to make. Which path did we want to follow? The one of hopelessness and death or the one with hope and life. By God's Grace, we admitted that we did not want to die and we chose to come to Sarasota, FL to find life.
This journey is the same journey Mike and I took over 10 years ago, only in spiritual realm. We were sinful. We had two different people show us the way to Jesus. Each of us admitted that sin to Him. We chose eternal life through Christ Jesus. Now, there is still work to do in perfecting that walk here on earth, but in the end, we have life.
We are here, but there is still work to do. Hard work. Mike is enduring but throwing up. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
We are all in very good and safe place. Life is good. Today is good. I have Elizabeth and Mike. That is all any of us is promised. Right now. This moment.
By the way, thank you for allowing me to really post all these feeling and thoughts. I should be paying everyone who reads this... You are my therapist.
Elizabeth and I also went to Venice Beach late this afternoon to look for Shark Teeth. She found 5 and was thrilled. The beaches are great here. They are shell beaches not sand. I also almost set off the hotel fire alarm with the hot plate I was using to warm up everyone's food! No kidding. It is hard to keep things straight. Mike needs these things, Elizabeth is hungry, and oops, the hot plate is smoking!
More tomorrow.... You uplift us so much with the emails and prayers. Please keep praying. God is moving.

Day 2 - No. You don't understand. I am hungry.
Such simple words that brought such hope this afternoon. We spent the day seeking treatment. When we got back to the hotel, I wanted Mike to drink a supplement and then some soup. He said he was tired. I said, "That is ok. Just drink the supplement." He said, "No you don't understand. I am hungry. I want to eat some soup." Mike hasn't asked for food of any kind since he walked off that plane from Korea 10 days ago. Yes he has eaten extremely small amounts of food. But his body as never asked for it.
So today is day two, but really day one of our journey here at American Nutriceuticals Wellness Center. Again, my new life long friend, Melissa sent us to her good friend Bill at ANWC. He is not a doctor, not a physician. He is a patient actually. A very successful patient as he is a 40+ year survivor of bone cancer. We have come to the ANMC to get Mik's health strong and use natural therapies from all over the world to make the cancer very weak. So let me share with you about all the crazy things that are going to make this journey a miracle. God's earth healing on of his own.
We got to the clinic early - Military 15 minute prior rule :) - and had some time in the car and the Bible. Mike shared with me Psalm's 91. One of the joy's in this path is that everything is so much clearer. God words are just leaping off the pages and ministring to us.
The first thing we did is get Mike going with Lymphatic drainage using Light Beam Generator (LBG). The light paddles are places at specific points on Mike to eliminate excess lymphatic fluid and blockages and reduce pain, swelling and assist the immune system by encouraging the flow of the lymph. This took awhile. In the meantime, Bill gave Elizabeth a Cancer 101. What we are doing is increasing Mike's immune system and keeping his heathly cells strong. Almost at the same time we are going to be working on breaking down the sources that cause cancer to grow - glucose. Next week we will start working on infusing Mike with an IV Therapy that is then designed to kill the cancer. A chemotherapy of the natural kind.
Mike did another Lympathic drainage session by another form of light therapy as well. I learned how to juice and we made his a drink of beets, kale, green onion, apple, spinach, and some other leafy green that I don't recognize. He kept some down. But did have an issue there.
We then moved on to foot detox. Bill allowed Elizabeth and I to experience this treatment. The foot is very porous and toxins are drained out using some sort of electrodes (?). The water started perfectly clear. By the end of 35 minutes, my water was almost as disgusting as Mike's. Brown and gross green junk. Bill looked at my water and said, " Your gall bladder isn't functioning as it should." I think everyone in Tucson recalls my gallbladder attack in December right as we were moving. It has been uncomfortable sometimes. Bill didn't know that.
ANWC has filtered air, special water... it is like a spa, but not really. They are opened this weekend just for Mike. To attack this cancer. God is so good. Mike is very tired but looks so much better. He has more color. He isn't that pasty white anymore. We are so encouraged. We have so much joy and peace right now. I will admit we have been in a cocoon for the past few days. We have fasted from TV, radio, surfing the web, and it has brought an amazing amount of clarity and peace. Those first few days were so chaotic and hopeless. We have hope. Hope that God will heal. Hope that there is a way using things God created. At my core, it makes sense. Our Almighty spoke this world into creation. He created to the very detail of our DNA. Sin entered this world, but he provided a way out of that sin through Jesus Christ's death on the cross. Disease is just like sin. God provided a way out throught his creation - light, plants, fruits, etc. I will blog more and I learn more on the treatments.
The postings on this blog are so encouraging and uplighting. Please continue to pray and blog and email. We need it. We want it. It breaks us into tears sometimes, but also strengthen's us form the inside out.
Cassie, Mike and I are so glad that it has made it to Godsquad. Our hope and faith were founded in that group. We were baptized by Dr. Christopher 10 years ago. Godsquad was our training ground in how to walk the walk that we are walking right now. Our hearts go out to our brother's and sisters at FBC Abilene.

Day one - Hope is lighting the way
We made it! We are here in our hotel room and I have so much to say. It is only been a week since this journey began, but it has been much longer. I will try to describe it. I know words will fail to truly give you a picture. In May, Mike start having issues with food. Things didn't sit right and he couldn't keep somethings down. It didn't seem like a big issue at first. By the time August came, he could only keep down liquids and crackers. He left to go on a TDY to Korea and things got much worse. By the time that he got home, he could only sip water and Gatorade. Literally sip and no more than 3 sips. He got home very late and one look at him and I knew something was wrong. I think I told my sister in law that he looks like someone who had cancer not knowing what was to come. We got into the doctor the next day (he didn't want to go to the ER...I almost did it anyway). God had a hand in getting that appointment. I called at 7:00 am on the dot. Actually 6:59 so that by the time I got through all the press 1, etc. It would be 7:00. However, I did not realize active duty can call in at 6:00 am. So of course there were no appointments. I told the lady on the other side,"You don't understand. He is really sick. He can't drink, eat and he has to have lost 30 pounds since I last saw him." She paused. Then she said, "The nurse is right here, do you want to talk to her?" Now all my military friends are thinking, "How did she call into the appointment line and a nurse was right there?" Normally they call you back with 24 hours. God. I explained what was going on and they walked us in that afternoon. We spent hours getting hydrated, xrays and the doc set up an Endoscope for us on Friday at Eglin. Now Friday was a down day, but the Doc is civilian and a workaholic. So Friday, we went there and he told us he found a mass and they biopsied it. He said we would have the results within 3-5 days and he made us an appointment to have a CT Scan. So we spent the whole weekend trying to keep Mike hydrated. Then Tuesday came. We went in for the CT Scan. Once that was over, we went back over to the GI Doctor. That is when he showed us the pictures and told us it was a Grapefruit size mass at the EG Juncture. So it was in his upper stomach and esophugus. He has Androcarcinoma. He even showed us the pictures from the endoscope. This GI doc was working already. He has appts, calls, Tricare, a worldwind of things going on. Wednesday, we went back to the GI doctor to again expand his esphogus and then we had the meeting with the Oncologist. That is when she told us that they found multiple lesions on his liver. He has 6-9 months with aggressive therapy (radiation and chemo). 2 months if we do nothing. No Hope. Again, things were set in motion on the medical end. Whirlwind.
So I am sitting here, writing this blog with unimaginable Hope. Unfailing Hope. Peace beyond all understanding right now. God place us in this storm and it is a great place to be. We are watching the visible hand of God right now. It all starts with a sister for life. Melissa. She had cancer. The kind with months to live. She is still alive 6 years later because of "Nutrition Therapy". That is the best way to describe our treatment path that we have chosen. She gave us the cell phone of a brother in Christ that will lead us down this path. This path we have chosen is not covered by our insurance.
For days, I felt like I was in the middle of the ocean. No land. No water. Sharks circling and my boat was going no where. Oh how we prayed. We asked the Lord for help. We needed to hear him. For the first time ever, I prostrated myself before him cried out. I now know what Job felt when he tore his clothes and cried to the Lord. Then slowly, God has built this tsuanami... Here is how the hand of God has moved:
*Roxanne...my angel in time of need. EVERY last thing I have needed she has provided. School pick up, groceries, house care. I will blog more about how God put us together. God definitely set this in motion the first Sunday we arrived in FL.
*Tammy picking up the phone. We got home on Tuesday, in the depths of despair. I played the phone message from Drs, etc. and her voice was there. I cried. Her familiar voice let me know I was not alone. I have struggled with that here in FL.
*countless "front row joes" at the hospital open up right as we get there. This is God knowing Mike doesn't have the strength to walk for long due to the pain in his belly
*enough money has flowed into our accounts to pay for at least the first month of Therapy
*Melissa booked this hotel for us and her company is picking up the bill for the 2 weeks we are here.
*Kathy's friend and doctor, Jason, confirmed we are on the right path through a comment he made about cancer and glucose.
*Originally we were not taking Elizabeth with us. I had a lifelong military friend dropping everything and flying in to take care of her. I was out running errands and I had a pit in my stomach. Unlike a pit I have ever had. I felt an overwhelming sense that Elizabeth should be with us. I called Dena at work and left her a voice mail. She called back laughing saying Doug was on his way home from work to book the tickets. The computers at Offutt were down all morning. He decided to leave to go home and use his home computer and was calling her to teel her. She said let me listen to a voice message in case it was from me. So needless to say, Elizabeth is with us.
* Mike had to go tell the Doctor's what we had decided to do. He went without me. On purpose I think. I just prayed for him. He thought there might have been a battle. The nurse that checked him in - Debbie- looked at him and said can I talk to you over there. Mike thought, "Oh no. More bad news." However, she said she heard what was going on. She lost her husband, a LT Col and flyer, 4 days after a crash. She wants to pray for him. She prayed with him right there and gave him her phone number and said to call anytime if he needs anything. She has no idea what encouragement she gave him and us. OH.. she normally works in another department but is filling in this week....
*Missy and this blog. I reached out to her. She just moved here this summer. I knew her through DMOSC, Christ Community Church, and friends. We only crossed paths for maybe 4 -6 months. I knew she had her own blog. I sent her an email that said I need you help. Explained that I needed the blog to update everyone and explained Mike's diagnosis. I signed that email "In His Hand and Holding on Tightly" because that is what we are doing. When she emailed me everything, I literally cried. It was perfect and she blessed us so much
* We had a great prayer warrior at our house last night. He is a treasure. God spoke to me as we were on our knees praying. Prior to his arrival, the anxiety was building. God sent him to pray with us.
TODAY:
* we arrived safely. I have to tell you twice I was so out of it that I thought I had missed turn offs.
*Pastor Hermon. Another angle sent to us through Melissa. THIS IS A TURNING POINT..
Pastor Herman called while we were on the road. Mike was asleep. He is so tired because his body is fighting. He prayed with me over the phone. It was so powerful. I was trying to lay my hands on Mike, while driving and holding up the phone. NO I don't have 3 hands. Right in the middle to the prayer when he was claiming Jesus to heal Mike, Mike woke up. He woke up saying "huh?" like someone spoke to him. When Pastor Herman was finished I said Mike woke up in the middle of the prayer. I handed the phone over to Mike. Mike mouthed, "Who is it?" I said just listen. He prayed a prayer for Mike. Mike placed his hand on his forehead and during the prayer as the bible tells about in James (I think). Mike said he felt a burning sensation that came from the top of his hand, through his head, down his throat, to his stomach. He said is felt like Jesus hands were inside his stomach moving things around. After the prayer, he said Paster Herman was the most powerful faith healer he had ever heard and fell asleep for 20 minutes. He woke up and was very hot. His face was red. However, things have changed. Mike had only drank maybe 4 ounces of water. He finished the bottle and has significantly less burping. He had organic soup tonight. Maybe 4-6 ounces that had ground up chicken. He has held down all the liquid treatments I have given him tonight. Mayber 12 -24 ounces. He didn't throw up phlgym at all. He has done that every day since he got home if he drinks too much.
* When we got to the hotel, our "nutrition therapist" comes to our room. He has a cart full of goodies. Dinner for Elizabeth and I from an organic restaurant. Food for Mike for the whole weekend that he had specificaly made. Muffins and bread from an organic bakery. Spring water. Supplements. Everything. We started tonight. We will go to the clinic in the morning to continue. It all makes perfect sense. I hope to blog about the treatment as well.
I know this was a long post. But I have so much to be thankful for. Watching God work is amazing. But Mike and I are convinced that God set this is motion to bring people to him. We have thanked him for that. I am different. So different than I was a week ago. While I accepted Jesus as my Savior about 10 years ago, I have opened a door to a new life this week. Everything is changing. God is healing me too. More on that later.
We have so much hope right now. We have always had Hope in Jesus, but now we have hope in this treatment too. AND peace.
I have to go to bed. Please continue to Pray for us. This is a long journey. Your prayers are felt. Your calls, emails, etc are uplifting. In everyway, we are feeding off of you. Please, please continue to call on the Lord. Pray that Mike will eat more and tolerate everything. Pray for me. I need to be able to take and manage all the tasks, pills, and treatments. Pray that Elizabeth will see how God is moving and grow into a deep relationship with him.

I will start posting soon... God is moving and I will share as soon as we get to the hotel near Tampa. Please continue to pray. Pray specifically that Mike will be able to eat without the gas pains and reflux. Pray for peaceful sleep. Pray for safe travel. Pray that I will be able to handle all the information...
To all our beloved friends and family - you have blessed us beyond measure with the emails, calls, prayers. This is our journey with cancer. No matter what, God will be glorified through it!
